Endodontist
Dr. Prashant Sukhani was born in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received Community Honors for his leadership as president of the University City Health Coalition in Philadelphia.
Dr. Sukhani completed a General Practice Residency at NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn, followed by a second year at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He then returned to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn to complete his Endodontic specialty training.
Currently, Dr. Sukhani is an attending faculty member at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he is actively involved in resident education. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the Second District Dental Society and is currently pursuing board certification in Endodontics.
Dr. Sukhani is dedicated to giving back to his community in the Virgin Islands and prioritizes creating a comfortable and compassionate environment for his patients. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, traveling, and learning about different cultures. He is proud to serve both the New York and Virgin Islands communities.
